·         Ovarian volume-Length x width x depth x 0.52 ml (assuming the ovary is elliptical

in shape).

Volume: Child — 1 ml Adult — 7—7.5 ml (normally <10 ml) Postmenopausal: — 1.5— 10 ml.

 

 

 

Before the menopause ovarian volume will obviously depend upon the number and size of developing follicles.
