Anomalies Associated with Fetal Clubfoot
Fetal talipes not associated with OH is often associated with other fetal anomalies.
· Chromosomal defects- Triploidy, trisomies 18, 13, 9, mosaic 2Op, 4p, 9p, partial trisomy 1Oq, 13q, 18q XXXX and XXXY syndrome.
· Skeletal dysplasias-Diastrophic dysplasia, osteogenesis imperfecta, Kniest’s dysplasia, spondyloephiphyseal dysplasia congenita, metatrophic dysplasia, mesomelic dysplasia (Nievergelt type), chondrodysplasia punctata, Roberts’ syndrome, Pena—Shokeir syndrome, Larsen’s syndrome, anthrogryposis multiplex congenita, Ellis—van Creveld syndrome, Conradi—Hunermann and nail— patella syndromes.
· Neural tube defects- Spina bifida/meningomyelocele and hydrocephalus.
· Metabolic disorders-Homocystinuria, Hunter’s syndrome, Ehiers—Danlos syndrome,
gangliosidosis — generalized, Zeliweger’s syndrome.
· Dysostoses- Femoral hypoplasia.
· Teratogens- Amnioprotein fetopathy
· Miscellaneous disorders- Aarskog’S, Escobar’S, Bloom’s, Dubowitz’ s, Freeman_She01, Hecht’s, Meckel’s, Noonan’s, Mietens_Weber, Riley—Day, SchwartZ J ampel, Seckel’s, tar syndromes and myotonic dystrophy.
